Fair Information: Meat Pen Judging for Rabbits

Hello Rabbit Leaders,

The meat pen judging for rabbits will be July 14th (Wednesday before Fair opens) so that means that if your baby rabbits are going to be the right age, you need to be them breeding today!! We just got the schedule today so everyone is in the same predicament with the time line. Please pass this information on to your members so they can get their rabbits bred ASAP (like tomorrow!).

Sorry about this last minute notice but with the date changes at the Fair, schedules are being adjusted. We will try to keep you up to date but you should check the Fair’s website for the most current information: http://www.stancofair.com

Rabbit Field Day

When: Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 9 am—3 pm

Where: Stanislaus County Ag Center, 3800 Cornucopia Way, Modesto, CA

This field day is open to anyone from Alameda, Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, San Joaquin, Santa Clara, Stanislaus or Tuolumne County.

Workshops

Given by top ARBA judges and professionals from around the state on Breed ID, Judging, Showmanship and Rabbit Selection.

Contests

Breed ID, Judging and Showmanship Ribbons and awards will be given.

Youth Rabbit Swap Meet

Youth may bring rabbits to sell. Rabbits must meet junior minimum weight and be pedigreed. Rabbits will be health checked at the door.

Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase.

Rabbit cages and supplies will be available for purchase by Randall’s Ranch.
